The Sadler Weddings

When my good friends Scotty and Carly got married a few years back, I knew they'd appreciate a hand made gift so spent my xmas break in France creating a star wars themed poster and accompanying website with an embedded clip redoing the famous star wars crawl for them.

A few years later they asked me to make a similar poster for Carlys sister who was getting married.

More recently I am supposed to be creating one for their younger brother who has been married a little while now but we have yet to pull it all together... better get on to that soon!

Powdered Beer

Soo, this ones an interesting story. I had a dream a few weeks before my friends birthday that I gave him a can of powered beer as a gift. When I woke up I thought this was too good an idea not to follow up on and did some online research to discover that actual powered beer does not exist. However, in Japan there is a powered root beer with typically amazing artwork.

I then went on to painstaking recreate the can, relabelling a tin of German powered malt extract with an accompanying poster print.

To date these are two of my all time favourite projects and I am very happy with how they came out.

Eye Now Pronounce

Not my most original piece I have to admit, I saw an example of this online and created my own version as a wedding gift for my good friends Dave and Ashleigh.

Looking at this again, I realise that i was massively fluky with spacing and how the words I used fit so well on each of the lines. Ah, just seen the typo...

RB Logo

I played round with a 3D modelling tool a while back and came up with this version of a logo my friends and I had devised for some of our projects at the time.

Dan Grade Certificate

Years ago, when my sister was heavily involved with her karate club, I had the opportunity to design their certificates, in particular this one for the black belt Dan grades.

We had a the English text translated into Japanese and I created the template in a professional typesetting tool to ensure the printers could produce the fine scrollwork and settings accurately.
