Easter Bunnies
As a presents for my girlfriends six nieces I made each of them an Easter bunny toy using various colourful materials. Turns out the best value fabric I found was cushion covers from the furnishings store round the corner.
Once a few pics of the bunnies went online I had quite a few requests for more and all told made 20, mostly for kids but a couple for big kids too.

As a little extra for each girl, I also made a bag for their Bunny to be carried around in and for gathering their Easter eggs on the hunt.

Sock Monkeys
Inspired by the ones hanging up in a local cafe, I looked up how to make these toys from colourful socks. Its pretty easy to do by hand from a single pair.
These too have mostly gone to the kids of friends.

Pony
One by my girlfriend for a pregnant friend, this little pony was scaled down from the pattern and rather fiddly to construct.
Not show here, he has a little acompanying saddle.
Bowie-bot
A gift for a friends 2nd birthday, Bowie-bot was conceived from the loud clattering noise Josh made in M&S tossing his other robot toy around.
In tribute to David Bowie we gave him a Ziggy Stardust lightning bolt and he came out great. One of our favourite toy projects.

Whaley and the Turtle
Whittling is a pretty easy and fun crafting activity. The whale is my attempt and the turtle is my girlfriends more sophisticated creation.
Mini Felt Unicorns
When we came up with the idea of making an octopus Deadpool, I immediately visualized a little pink unicorn in his tentacle and sketched out a small template to make one out of felt.
The lights pink is the original one and the sparkly version was requested by a friend. Theyr'e about 5cm long and exceedingly fiddly to turn right side out after stitching..
